Sakshi Agarwal, born on July 20, 1990, in India, is an Indian actress and model primarily known for her work in the Tamil and Kannada film industries. She has also appeared in Malayalam cinema and gained significant recognition through her participation in reality television.

Early Life and Education

Sakshi Agarwal's early life saw her grow up in Chennai. She pursued a strong academic path, completing a bachelor's degree in information technology at St. Joseph's College of Engineering and an MBA degree at Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship. Before entering the entertainment industry, she worked as a marketing consultant for multinational corporations like Tata Consultancy Services and Infosys.

Career in Film and Television

Sakshi's transition into acting began after part-time modeling commitments led her to opportunities in advertisements. She sought acting roles in both the Tamil and Kannada film industries, signing her first projects in early 2013.

Her acting debut was in the Kannada film Software Ganda (2014), where she played a leading role as an office worker. In Tamil cinema, her first theatrical release was a small role in Atlee's Raja Rani (2013). She subsequently appeared in various low-budget Tamil films in leading roles during 2015 and 2016.

A significant turning point in her career came with her role as the Hindi-speaking daughter-in-law of Rajinikanth's character in Pa. Ranjith's acclaimed film Kaala (2018). She also appeared in Ajith's Viswasam (2019) and made her Malayalam debut in the comedy-drama Orayiram Kinakkalal (2018).

Sakshi Agarwal gained wider recognition and immense popularity through her participation as a contestant in Bigg Boss Tamil Season 3 in 2019, a reality show telecast on Star Vijay.
