Struthers rose to national fame as Gloria Stivic in All in the Family, created by Norman Lear. The show starred Carroll O'Connor as Archie Bunker and became one of the most influential sitcoms in television history.

As Gloria, the outspoken and compassionate daughter of Archie Bunker, Struthers portrayed a character who often challenged her father’s conservative views. Her performance earned her two Primetime Emmy Awards and established her as a household name in the 1970s.
