Sameer Bharath Ram
Biography
Sameer Bharath Ram is an Indian film producer and director who works primarily in the Tamil film industry. He is associated with independent and contemporary Tamil cinema, particularly through his production banner Super Talkies.
He produced the Tamil action drama Uriyadi (2016), directed by Vijay Kumar. He later produced the anthology romantic comedy Mamakiki (2020), which was released on ZEE5 and featured four interconnected stories about former college friends.
Ram also produced Mudhal Nee Mudivum Nee (2022), the coming-of-age film written and directed by Darbuka Siva. The film follows a group of school students in the 1990s and explores friendship, first love, dreams, music, and adolescence. It premiered on ZEE5 on 21 January 2022.
His other production credits include Theeviram, Sathiya Sothanai, and Konjam Pesinaal Yenna. His career reflects a focus on Tamil independent cinema, youthful stories, and emerging filmmakers and talent.
