Biography
Sam Hazeldine, born 29 March 1972 in Hammersmith, London, England, is an English actor known for his work in film, television, and theatre. He trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) but initially left acting to pursue music before returning to the profession in 2003.
Hazeldine gained recognition through television roles in Peaky Blinders, Resurrection, Requiem, and Netflix's supernatural series The Innocents (2018), where he played John McDaniel.
His film credits include The Raven (2012), The Monuments Men (2014), '71 (2014), The Huntsman: Winter's War (2016), The Hitman's Bodyguard (2017), The Last Duel (2021), and The War Below (2021).
He later appeared in The Witcher, The Sandman, Slow Horses, Masters of the Air, and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. In the second season of The Rings of Power, he portrayed Adar, replacing Joseph Mawle in the role.
Hazeldine has also maintained a theatre career, appearing in productions of Hamlet, Othello, The Homecoming, and Coriolanus.
