Sana Amin Sheikh, born on August 10, 1989, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, is an Indian actress and radio jockey renowned for her versatile roles in Hindi television and films. She is the great-granddaughter of Gujarati theatre actor and singer Ashraf Khan.
Early Life and Education
Sana completed her schooling at St. Joseph’s Convent High School in Bandra West, Mumbai, and pursued higher education at RD & SH National College and SWA Science College in Mumbai.
Career
Television
Sana began her acting journey as a child artist in 1994, portraying Vaishali in the Doordarshan TV series "Junoon."
She gained prominence with her role as Ritu Shah in Disney Channel India's "Kya Mast Hai Life" (2009). Over the years, she has appeared in more than 30 television serials, establishing herself as a prominent figure in the industry. Notable lead roles include Suman in "Jeet Jayenge Hum," Laajo in "Gustakh Dil," Avanti in "Million Dollar Girl," and Aradhya in "Krishnadasi." She has also taken on supporting roles in series like "Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya" and "Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi 3."
Radio Jockey
In August 2004, Sana embarked on a career as a radio jockey with Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM. She later worked with Ishq 104.8 FM before joining Mirchi Love. Throughout her radio career, she hosted popular shows such as "Khoobsurat, Sana Ke Saath" and "TRP – Television Radio Par." Additionally, she served as an RJ for Mirchi 90s.
