Sanghavi
Biography
Sanghavi, born Kavya Ramesh, is an Indian actress and model who predominantly worked in Telugu and Tamil cinema. She was one of South Indian cinema's leading actresses from 1993 to 2004. Over a 15-year career, she appeared in more than 80 films, including 38 in Telugu, 35 in Tamil, eight in Kannada, two in Malayalam, and one in Hindi.
Early Life:
Born in Mysore, Karnataka, Sanghavi's father, Dr. D. A. Ramesh, was an ENT professor at Mysore Medical College, while her mother was the niece of Kannada actress Aarathi. Sanghavi studied at Marimallappa High School and made her film debut in 1993 with the Tamil movie Amaravathi, starring opposite Ajith Kumar.
Personal Life:
An accomplished dancer and badminton player, Sanghavi married Venkatesh, an IT professional, on 3 February 2016 at the Taj Vivanta in Bengaluru. The couple welcomed their daughter, Chanvi, in January 2020.
Accident and Comeback:
In 2005, Sanghavi sustained a nose injury in an accident while traveling from Mysore to Chennai. Her father performed the corrective surgery. After years away from the industry, she returned to acting in 2019 with the film Kolanji, written by Naveen.
