Sanu John Varghese is a prominent Indian cinematographer who has made significant contributions to the Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu film industries.   

 

 

Early Career and Training

Varghese's journey into the world of cinematography began with his education at the College of Fine Arts in Trivandrum, Kerala. He further honed his skills at the Sarojini Naidu School of Arts and Communication at the University of Hyderabad.   

 

 

Career Highlights

His career took off after assisting renowned cinematographer Ravi K. Chandran on various projects. Varghese's debut as an independent cinematographer came with the 2003 Hindi film "Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon."   

 

 

He gained widespread recognition for his work in Kamal Haasan's spy thriller, "Vishwaroopam" (2013), where his stunning visuals captured the diverse landscapes and action sequences of the film.
