Saqib Ayub
Biography
Saqib Ayub is a 28-year-old actor based in Mumbai. He was born and raised here. His current permanent location is Mumbai.
He's actively working in the industry since 2012. He's trained in Hindustani theatre and performed more than 70 short plays based on stories of Munshi Premchand, Manto, and other notable writers of their time.
He has done over 50 commercials for various brands. He was featured in the first print campaign of Spotify in India.
He marked his TV debut in 2016 with the Channel V show (Ishq Unplugged) His first feature film was "Thugs of Hindostan" starring Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, and Katrina Kaif.
His performance as Hemant in the Netflix show SHE, written and produced by Imtiaz Ali got him noticed. Apart from She, he has been featured in web shows like Bombers (Zee5), The Missing Stone (MX player), and Main Hero Boll Raha Hu (Alt Balaji).
His upcoming work includes Dharma much awaited magnum opus Brahmastra, Raj & DK's next series titled (Farzi) starring Shahid Kapoor, and Excel Entertainment's next series titled (Bambai Meri Jaan)
He is also roped in to be a part of Meghna Gulzar's next feature film titled (Sam Bahadur) starring Vicky Kaushal.
He's 5'9 tall and can speak fluent Hindi, English, Urdu, and Marathi. His hometown is Bihar so he's impeccable with the UP-Bihar Hindi dialect. Along with these, he's known to be prolific in pulling off different accents in the Hindi language.
