Biography
Sara Arjun (born 18 June 2005) is an Indian actress who primarily appears in Tamil and Hindi films, along with occasional work in Telugu and Malayalam cinema. The daughter of actor Raj Arjun, she began her career in commercials and short films before the age of six, quickly establishing herself as a talented child artist.
Sara made her major film debut in A. L. Vijay’s Deiva Thirumagal (2011) portrays Nila, a six-year-old whose father is mentally challenged. Her performance was widely praised for its emotional depth and natural charm, earning her critical acclaim and helping the film achieve both commercial and critical success.
Following this, she continued to appear in films, garnering recognition for her roles in Vijay’s Saivam (2014), where she played Thamizhselvi, and in the Hindi supernatural thriller Ek Thi Daayan (2013), portraying the younger sister of the lead character. Critics often highlighted her expressive performances and screen presence, noting her ability to hold her own alongside adult co-stars.
Sara began her career very early, shooting her first commercial at the age of one and a half after being spotted in a mall. She appeared in over a hundred advertisements for brands, including McDonald’s. Her parents played an active role in supporting her career, including helping her learn dialogues in multiple languages for film shoots.
