Biography

Saud Qasmi, popularly known as Saud, was born in Karachi, Pakistan, into a prominent religious and artistic family. He is the grandson of the renowned Islamic scholar Maulana Ehtesham-ul-Haq Thanvi, who gave him a strong cultural and traditional upbringing. Despite his family’s scholarly background, Saud developed an early fascination with the performing arts, eventually pursuing a career in acting and production.

Entry Into Films
Saud made his film debut in the early 1990s and quickly emerged as one of Lollywood’s most promising young actors. His good looks, expressive acting style, and strong screen presence helped him secure leading roles in both Urdu and Punjabi films. He soon became one of the most sought-after romantic heroes of his time.
