Biography

​Scott Bloom is an American actor and film producer known for his work in both television and film. Born on July 28, 1973, in Manhasset, New York, he began his acting career at a young age.​Rotten Tomatoes+3

 

Bloom's early acting roles include the cult horror film The Stuff (1985) and the sitcom Who's the Boss? (1987–1988), where he played Jesse Nash. He continued to build his career with appearances in various TV movies and series.

 

In the early 2000s, Bloom expanded into film, acting in Don's Plum (2001) alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire, and John Q (2002) with Denzel Washington. He also appeared in Smokin' Aces (2006), sharing the screen with actors like Ray Liotta and Ryan Reynolds.​

 

Transitioning into production, Bloom co-founded Argonaut Pictures in 2007. The company produced Welcome to the Rileys (2010), featuring Kristen Stewart, James Gandolfini, and Melissa Leo.​

 

Throughout his career, Bloom has demonstrated versatility in the entertainment industry, contributing both in front of and behind the camera.
