Biography

Sean Daniel is an American film producer known for his work in action, horror, science fiction, and fantasy films. He has been active in the American film industry since the 1980s and is particularly associated with successful genre franchises and commercially popular Hollywood productions.

Career

Daniel began his career working in film production and rose through the ranks at Universal Pictures. During his time at the studio, he became involved in the development and production of several major feature films. He later established himself as an independent producer.

One of his notable early successes was Tremors (1990), the science-fiction horror comedy directed by Ron Underwood. Daniel served as a producer on the film, which later developed a large cult following and grew into a long-running franchise.

He subsequently produced a number of successful films, including The Mummy (1999), starring Brendan Fraser, Rachel Weisz, and Arnold Vosloo. The film was a major commercial success and launched a popular adventure-film franchise. Daniel returned as a producer for The Mummy Returns (2001) and was involved with later entries in the series.

His other production credits include Dazed and Confused (1993), The Nutty Professor (1996), Mortal Kombat (1995), The Scorpion King (2002), and Van Helsing (2004). His work has covered a wide range of genres, particularly action-adventure, fantasy, horror, and comedy.
