Seth Gordon is an American filmmaker, producer, and television director known for his work in both documentary and mainstream Hollywood films. He was born on July 15, 1976, in Evanston, Illinois, United States. Gordon developed an interest in storytelling and film at a young age, which eventually guided him toward an entertainment career.

 

He attended Yale University, where he earned a degree in architecture. Although his academic background was not directly in film, his creative training influenced his visual storytelling style. Later, he studied film at the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts, one of the most respected film schools in the world.
