Biography
Shabir Tabare Alam is an Indian singer-songwriter, music composer, record producer, and lyricist, who is predominantly active in Tamil cinema. He started his movie career with the 2013 action thriller Vathikuchi as a singer-songwriter for the songs `Amma Wake Me Up` and `Ari Unnai`.
After working in the Telugu film Pranam Kosam, he lent his voice to the song `Yaaro Yaar Aval` in the 2014 action thriller Arima Nambi, which marked the debut of popular drummer Sivamani as a music director. Shabir then collaborated with music composer Ghibran, for the theme song of the Telugu romantic comedy Babu Bangaram.
His 2017 venture as a music director includes the horror comedy Sangu Chakkaram, which revolves around a group of kids who get stuck in a haunted palace. Directed by Maarison, the movie stars Dhilip Subbarayan, Gheetha, and Jeremy Roske. His 2019 release includes Dhilluku Dhuddu 2, Neeya 2, Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja, and Raju Gari Gadhi 3.
