Shaji Kumar is an Indian cinematographer who has worked predominantly in Malayalam and Tamil cinema. He began his career in the early 2000s and has collaborated with filmmakers including Shaji Kailas, Joshiy, Vinayan, and Vysakh.
Career
Shaji Kumar began his cinematography career with Malayalam films and established himself through projects such as Valkannadi (2002), Ammakilikkoodu (2003), Njan Salperu Ramankutty (2004) and Athbhutha Dweepu (2005). His early work helped him become a recognized cinematographer in Malayalam cinema.
He also worked in Tamil cinema, serving as cinematographer on films such as Ponnar Shankar (2011), Mambattiyan (2011), and Saahasam (2016). His work on Ponnar Shankar received critical appreciation.
