Shehzad Khan was born in India and is the son of legendary actor Ajit (Hamid Ali Khan), one of Hindi cinema's most famous screen villains. Inspired by his father's legacy, he pursued a career in acting.

Shehzad Khan made his film debut in the late 1980s and went on to establish himself as a dependable supporting actor. He is best known for his performances in films such as Andaz Apna Apna (1994), where he portrayed Bhalla, Barsaat (1995), Mr. & Mrs. Khiladi (1997), Qila (1998), Hero No. 1 (1997), International Khiladi (1999), Badhaai Ho Badhaai (2002), Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004), Tom, Dick, and Harry (2006), and Jawani Diwani: A Youthful Joyride (2006).
In addition to films, he has appeared in several Hindi television serials, showcasing his versatility across comedy, drama, and character roles.
