Biography
Sheik Dawood G. is an Indian screenwriter, producer, and filmmaker associated with Telugu cinema. He was born on 9 July 1978 and comes from a well-known family in Tiruppur. He earned a degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli (NIT Trichy), where he studied from 1997 to 2001.
After completing his engineering degree, Dawood worked as an alloy designer and later explored several professional fields, including social work, various jobs, and business ventures. He eventually moved toward the film industry and developed his skills in screenwriting and filmmaking.
Dawood also worked as a faculty member teaching screenplay and direction at the L. V. Prasad Film and Television Academy in Chennai. Along with writer Karthikeya Manikandan, he runs the media agency Couple of Dots.
He became known as a screenwriter through films such as Venkatadri Express (2013), Express Raja (2016), Thikka (2016), Ek Mini Katha (2021), and Maestro (2021). He also directed the Telugu web series Aha Naa Pellanta (2022).
