Shoma Anand is an Indian film and television actress known for her versatile roles in both cinema and TV.
Film Career
Shoma Anand began her film career opposite Rishi Kapoor in Pramod Chakraborty’s romantic-crime movie Barood and later appeared in Patita, produced and directed by the same filmmaker. During the 1980s, she played lead roles in films such as Jagir and Coolie. From the late 1990s onwards, she transitioned to supporting roles in notable films like Coolie, Hungama, Kyaa Kool Hai Hum, and Kal Ho Naa Ho. She has also acted in Punjabi films throughout her career.
Television Career
Shoma Anand gained popularity on television with shows such as Bhabhi, the sitcom Hum Paanch, and Shararat, showcasing her talent in diverse genres from drama to comedy.
