Biography
Shubham Chaudhary is an Indian actor from Uttarakhand, currently based in Mumbai. A graduate of The Drama School Mumbai, he has built a diverse career across theatre, film, and contemporary performance.
Theatre Career
Shubham began his artistic journey with street theatre, dedicating significant time to socially relevant performances. He later became a part of the Delhi Theatre Circuit for four years, performing in acclaimed plays such as Park, The Importance of Being Earnest, and Chandragupt. His theatre work reflects a strong foundation in both classical and experimental performance styles.
He is also trained in Thangta, a martial art dance form from Manipur, and Chhau, a martial art-based dance tradition from northern India, which adds a unique physical dimension to his performances.
Recent Work
Shubham continues to engage with contemporary theatre, appearing in productions such as Faezeh Jalali's Bone of Contention in a Cosmopolitan Cooperative Housing Society and Patchworks Ensemble's Shikaar. His work demonstrates a commitment to challenging, thought-provoking theatre that blends traditional and modern techniques.
