Biography
Shubhankar Tawde is a talented Indian actor known for his memorable role as Samrat Patil in the popular serial Freshers. Born and raised in Mumbai, he is the son of the renowned Marathi actor Sunil Tawde. From an early age, Shubhankar developed a passion for acting, which led him to pursue theatre and performance arts alongside his studies.
He began his acting journey with the drama group Dark Heaven, performing in numerous college plays and honing his skills on stage. During his time at Ramnarain Ruia College, he was also actively involved with Ruia Natyavalay, gaining valuable experience in theatrical productions. To further refine his craft, he trained at The Drama School, preparing for a professional career in the entertainment industry.
Shubhankar’s transition to television brought him recognition among Zee Yuva audiences, and he continues to explore diverse roles in Marathi entertainment. Known for his dedication, expressive performances, and grounding in theatre, Shubhankar Tawde is steadily carving out a prominent place in the Marathi acting landscape.
