Biography
Siddhartha Khosla is an American composer, songwriter, and music producer of Indian descent, born on January 2, 1977, in Tenafly, New Jersey. He developed an early interest in music, influenced partly by the Hindi film songs he heard during his childhood.
Khosla began his professional music career as the lead singer and songwriter of the indie-rock band Goldspot. He later moved into film and television composing, working on projects such as The Neighbors, Grandfathered, Marvel's Runaways, Looking for Alaska, and Nancy Drew.
He gained major recognition for composing the score for This Is Us, creating emotional music that became an important part of the series. He later composed the music for Only Murders in the Building, earning several Emmy nominations and winning the 2024 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Music Composition for a Series.
Known for blending orchestral music, contemporary songwriting, and Indian musical influences, Khosla has established himself as a prominent composer in American television and film.
