Biography
Siddharth Kumar Tewary is an acclaimed Indian television producer, writer, and director, best known for creating some of the most ambitious and visually spectacular shows in Indian television history. Born and raised in India, Siddharth developed an early fascination with storytelling and mythology, which later became the cornerstone of his creative journey.
He is the founder and creative force behind Swastik Productions Pvt. Ltd., one of India’s leading production houses. Under his banner, he has conceptualized and produced several successful television series that blend strong narratives with grand visual appeal.
Siddharth gained widespread recognition for his magnum opus Mahabharat (2013–2014), which reimagined the ancient Indian epic for modern audiences. The show was praised for its scale, storytelling, and technical brilliance. He went on to create other notable works such as Porus (2017–2018), India’s first global TV series, known for its international reach and cinematic production values.
