Biography
Simon began his love of image-making as a teenager in Brisbane, Australia as an avid amateur photographer. He shot countless short films at high school before being accepted into the Queensland College of Arts film program where he started to develop ideas and experiment with shooting all manner of projects.
From here, Simon was accepted to the national film school (AFTRS) in Sydney, Australia, and honed his craft under extraordinary tutelage and surrounded by the new wave of Australian film and TV talent.
After graduating in 2002, with short films selected for many major international festivals, including the prestigious Camerimage in Poland, Simon embarked on a career in cinematography.
He has since shot countless movies, TV dramas, commercials, and documentaries. With a rapidly expanding resume, Simon is now based in North America, excited to be taking his skills into the international arena.
