Biography
Simon Duric was born on 3 November 1978 in Tibshelf, Derbyshire, England. He is a British storyboard artist, second-unit director, writer, and producer who has worked extensively across film and television.
Duric began his career as an illustrator and later spent around 12 years working as a storyboard artist. His credits include Sherlock Holmes (2009), The Woman in Black (2012), Prometheus (2012), Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015), and Criminal (2016).
He also worked as a second-unit director on productions including The Crown, Black Mirror, and McMafia. His work later expanded into writing and producing.
Duric co-created, co-wrote, and executive-produced Netflix's supernatural drama The Innocents (2018). He wrote three episodes and served as executive producer on all eight episodes of the series.
His career combines storyboarding, directing, writing, and producing, with credits spanning major Hollywood films, television dramas, science fiction, and supernatural productions.
