Siraj Valiyaveettil
Biography
Siraj Valiyaveettil was an Indian film producer associated primarily with Malayalam cinema. He was active in the industry during the 2000s and produced several notable Malayalam films. He was also involved in film distribution under the Valiyaveettil banner.
Career
Siraj began his film career in production management and was credited as a production manager on the Hindi crime film Satya (1998). He later moved into film production in Malayalam cinema.
His early production credits included Aparichithan (2004), directed by Sanjiv Sivan and starring Mammootty, Kavya Madhavan and other leading performers.
He went on to produce Rajamanikyam (2005), directed by Anwar Rasheed and starring Mammootty as Bellary Raja. The film became a major commercial success and is regarded as one of the memorable Malayalam films of the 2000s.
Siraj subsequently produced Prajapathi (2006), directed by Ranjith and featuring Mammootty in the lead role. He also produced Khaki (2007), starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, Mammootty and other prominent actors.
