Sivalenka Krishna Prasad

Biography

Sivalenka Krishna Prasad was born on October 24, 1956, in Vijayawada, Telangana, India. He completed his graduate studies at Osmania University in Hyderabad and is the nephew of the renowned actor Chandra Mohan.

 

 

Career

Krishna Prasad began his career in the film industry by dubbing the Kannada film Rakasi Nagu into Telugu, which became a notable success. He later founded Sridevi Movies and has been active in the film industry for over three decades, producing more than 35 feature films. His production ventures include notable films such as Aditya 369, Vamsanikokkadu, Sammohanam, Yashoda, and Sarangapani Jathakam.

 

 

In addition to producing, Krishna Prasad has worked in film distribution and served as an associate and line producer for several projects. He is a long-standing member of various film industry associations, including the Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber of Commerce, the A.P. Film Producers' Council, and the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce.

 

 

Recent Work

In 2025, Krishna Prasad produced Sarangapani Jathakam, a crime-comedy drama directed by Mohana Krishna Indraganti, which was praised for its humor and storytelling.
