Sofía Vergara is a Colombian-American actress, television personality, model, producer, and businesswoman. She became an international star through her role as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on the hit sitcom Modern Family. She is also known for films such as Chef, Hot Pursuit, Machete Kills, and Grilled.

Early Life

Sofía Margarita Vergara Vergara was born on July 10, 1972, in Barranquilla, Colombia. She grew up in a large family and initially studied dentistry at a university in Colombia. However, she left her studies before graduating to pursue opportunities in modeling and entertainment.
