Biography
Sonali Sachdev is an Indian actress, born Sonali Mahimtura in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Before entering the entertainment industry, she worked as a dentist and later developed her career in acting, beginning with theatre.
She became widely recognized for playing Dr. Shilpa Thakkar in the popular television series Baa Bahoo Aur Baby. She subsequently appeared in shows such as Kya Mast Hai Life, Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki, and Satrangi Sasural.
Sachdev has also worked in Hindi films, with credits including Taare Zameen Par, Aashayein, Pizza, Kedarnath, Ahaan, Gully Boy, and Kho Gaye Hum Kahan. She gained further recognition through streaming projects such as Mumbai Diaries 26/11, in which she played Shamita Parekh.
