Biography
M.B. Babu, also known as Soorappa Babu, is an Indian film producer who is primarily known for his work in Kannada cinema.
In a career spanning over two decades, he has bankrolled several popular movies, among which are the Vishnuvardhan starrers Soorappa (2000), Kotigobba (2001), and Kadamba (2004).
Besides these, Babu has also produced blockbusters featuring contemporary Sandalwood stars like Puneeth Rajkumar and Kiccha Sudeep.
Other notable production credits include Prithvi (2010), Kotigobba 2 (2016) and Kotigobba 3 (2019).
