Spencer Breslin (born May 18, 1991) is an American actor and musician known for his work in film and television, particularly as a child actor during the late 1990s and early 2000s. Born in New York City, he is the older brother of actress Abigail Breslin.
Breslin began acting professionally at a young age and appeared in television commercials and programs before moving into feature films. He gained recognition for his roles in The Kid (2000), The Santa Clause 2 (2002), and The Cat in the Hat (2003).
In The Cat in the Hat, directed by Bo Welch, Breslin played Conrad Walden, one of the two children whose lives are disrupted when the mischievous Cat suddenly appears at their home. He starred alongside Dakota Fanning, Mike Myers, Alec Baldwin, and Kelly Preston.
Breslin continued acting in films including Raising Helen (2004), Zoom (2006), and Harold (2008). He also appeared in television productions and provided voice work for animated projects.
