Biography

S. P. Sailaja was born on October 2, 1962, in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, India. She hails from a musically gifted family and is the younger sister of legendary playback singer S. P. Balasubrahmanyam. Growing up in a household filled with music, Sailaja developed a strong interest in singing from a young age.

Encouraged by her family, she trained in classical music, which later helped her establish a successful career in playback singing across multiple South Indian film industries.
