Biography
Sudha Rani is an Indian film actress and voice artist, who predominantly works in Kannada cinema, along with appearances in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam movies. She made her acting debut as a child artist in 1978 with Kiladi Kittu and was first seen in a lead role in Anand (1986).
Her most successful movies include Ranaranga (1988), Krishna Nee Kunidaga (1989), Mannina Doni (1992), Sparsha (2000), Guru (2012), and Vasanthakala Paravai (1991).
In 2017, she featured in the Kannada film Happy New Year, under the direction of Pannaga Bharana, starring B C Patil, Saikumar, Vijaya Raghavendra, and Diganth, in the lead roles. Her 2017 release includes the Kannada language drama film Dada Is Back.
Directed by Santosh, the movie along with Arun Kumar stars Radhakrishnan Parthiban, and Ajay Raj Urs in the lead. In 2017 she starred in director Chetan Kumar`s Bharjari. The movie has Dhruva Sarja, Rachita Ram, and Hariprriya in the lead.
Her 2018 release includes 3 Gante 30 Dina 30 Second. Her 2019 releases include Premier Padmini, Chitrakatha, K R Market C/O Dheena, Geetha, and Vrithra. In 2021, she was a part of the action-drama film Yuvarathnaa, directed by Santhosh Anandram.
