Sudheer Varma is a prominent Indian filmmaker known for his work in the Telugu film industry. Born on October 6, 1979, in Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh, he spent his early years in Narasapuram before completing his schooling in Visakhapatnam and intermediate education in Kakinada. Initially, Sudheer pursued a career in Electronics and Communication Engineering before finding his passion in the world of cinema​.

Varma began his career in the film industry as an assistant director and eventually transitioned into directing. His directorial debut was the critically acclaimed and commercially successful "Swamy Ra Ra" in 2013. The film, featuring Nikhil Siddharth and Swathi Reddy, was praised for its unique storytelling style and intellectual engagement. Following this, the film was remade in Kannada as Jamboo Savari.

Sudheer directed "Dohchay", which starred Naga Chaitanya and Kriti Sanon. This further cemented his reputation in the Telugu film industry.
