Sundeep Kishan is a popular Indian actor known for his work primarily in Telugu cinema, with notable appearances in Tamil films as well. With his natural acting skills and diverse roles, he has carved a niche for himself in the industry.

 

Early Life & Background

Sundeep Kishan was born on May 7, 1987, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He comes from a family with ties to the film industry, as he is the nephew of cinematographers Chota K. Naidu and Shyam K. Naidu. His passion for cinema developed at a young age, leading him to pursue a career in acting.

He completed his education in Chennai before stepping into the film industry.

 

Career in Films

Debut & Early Struggles (2008–2011)

Sundeep started his career as an assistant director under Gautham Vasudev Menon before making his acting debut with the 2010 Telugu film "Sneha Geetham", directed by Madhura Sreedhar Reddy. Though the film did not make a huge impact, it helped him gain recognition.

His breakthrough came in 2011 with "Prasthanam", a critically acclaimed political drama directed by Deva Katta. His role as Chinna, a troubled youth, earned him praise and established him as a promising actor.

 

Rise to Fame (2012–2016)

Sundeep gained commercial success with the 2013 film "Venkatadri Express", directed by Merlapaka Gandhi. The film became a sleeper hit, and his performance as a young man caught in a time-sensitive journey was widely appreciated.
