Sushil Bonthiyal
Biography
Sushil Bonthiyal is an Indian actor known for his work across Hindi television, films, and web series. Originally from Uttarakhand and raised in Lucknow, he completed his graduation there before being selected for the National School of Drama, where he honed his craft.
After NSD, he moved to Mumbai to pursue acting, continuing theatre work until he secured his first television role. This opened the door to several notable projects, including some of the industry’s well-known shows.
Sushil gained widespread recognition for his role in the popular Colors TV series Phulwa, in which he played Phoolan Devi’s father, a character that made him a familiar name in Indian households.
With growing acclaim and an expanding portfolio, he went on to appear in multiple web series and Hindi films, consistently earning praise for his compelling performances and establishing himself as a respected actor in the entertainment world.
