Biography

Suvir Nath is an editor in the Indian Entertainment industry. He has more than 18 years of work experience across TV, web series, Films, documentaries, Ads, and online virals. Currently, he is living in Mumbai, Maharastra. 

 

He graduated in English literature from Delhi University and after that, he earned his Post Graduate Diploma from the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, specializing in Film and TV editing. 

 

His first feature-length film ‘Road to Sangam’, (one of the best works of Paresh Rawal, Om Puri, and Pawan Malhotra) as an editor received 20 International and National awards.

 

In 2010, he received ‘IDPA Award for Excellence’ for Best script writing for the short film ‘The Gift’. In 2018, his edited documentary film ‘1984- The Sun Didn’t Rise’ was awarded a National Award. 

 

His other edited short film ‘Rewind’ also participated in International and national short film festivals. He received ‘Best Editor’ for his feature film ‘Vartak Nagar’ at the Jharkhand International Film Festival, in 2019.

 

After working so long as an editor, he switched to directions and productions but still worked as an editor for selective projects. He has directed many corporate films and ads for many prestigious brands. 

 

His first short film ‘Bol Golu Bol’ was telecasted on Doordarshan and participated in many short film festivals. Currently, he is producing full-length Documentary films. He is also the Producer of the show ‘Conversations with Atul’.
