Biography

Tania Raymonde is an American actress, writer, director, and producer, born on March 22, 1988, in Los Angeles, California. She began her acting career as a child, making early television appearances before gaining recognition for her role as Cynthia Sanders on Malcolm in the Middle.

Raymonde achieved wider recognition as Alex Rousseau on the acclaimed ABC drama Lost, appearing in the series from 2006 to 2010. Her performance as Alex, the adopted daughter of Benjamin Linus, became one of her best-known roles.

Her other television credits include Cold Case, Death Valley, 90210, Switched at Birth, The Last Ship, The Big Bang Theory, Chicago Fire, S.W.A.T., and The Lincoln Lawyer. She also portrayed convicted murderer Jodi Arias in the 2013 Lifetime television film Jodi Arias: Dirty Little Secret.

From 2016 to 2021, Raymonde starred as Brittany Gold in the Amazon legal drama Goliath, appearing alongside Billy Bob Thornton. Brittany begins as Billy McBride's legal assistant and develops into an important part of his professional and personal life.

Her film work includes Children on Their Birthdays, The Garage, Chasing 3000, Wild Cherry, Texas Chainsaw 3D, Cliffs of Freedom, and Deep Blue Sea 3. She has also appeared in Walden and Futra Days.

In addition to acting, Raymonde has worked behind the camera. She wrote, edited, and directed the short film Cell Division, and has continued developing projects as a writer and director.
