Tara Amala Joseph
Biography
Tara is an Indian actress who primarily works in Malayalam and Tamil cinema. She made her acting debut in the Malayalam film Irupathiyonnam Noottandu, directed by Arun Gopy.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Banking from the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance, New Delhi. Passionate about performance, Tara trained under Ariane Mnouchkine at Ecole Nomade (Théâtre du Soleil, Paris) and at Adishakti Theatre, Pondicherry.
She has appeared in several films, short films, and music videos, including Naane Varuvean and a music video directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon. She also starred in the Kerala government micro movie Arikil and a KSFDC short film promoting child and women empowerment.
A practitioner of Kalari and Muay Thai, Tara is versatile both on screen and physically. She has also featured in numerous commercials for brands like Amazon, Malabar Gold, Tanishq, Vivo, and Grand Hyatt.
