Tatsat Pandey
Biography
Born and brought up in Indore, Tatsat worked as a senior analyst in an IT company after completing his MBA from IIM Indore. His life took a turn when he found his calling after attending the 1-year Creative Writing program at MICA, Ahmedabad. He joined Culture Machine, a digital production company in Mumbai, as a writer.
There Tatsat wrote YouTube sketches and short-form branded videos for Being Indian and Blush. In 2018, he wrote three episodes of a show called Date Gone Wrong, now streaming on Eros Now. After his stint as an in-house writer, Tatsat wrote 2 seasons of a YouTube series called Wrong Number for RVCJ which was one of the top most viewed YouTube shows in 2019.
There was no looking back for Tatsat after that. He co-wrote the Dice Media show Ghar Waapsi which was one of the most loved series of 2022. The series currently streaming on Disney+ Hotstar got Tatsat the prestigious Filmfare nomination for Best Screenplay and Best Dialogue.
A lover of content, Tatsat is open to working on different kinds of projects and has also tried his hand at writing for an animated show for the Jambo channel by Pocket Aces, the process of which he thoroughly enjoyed.
Tatsat enjoys watching and writing investigative stories, thrillers, and mysteries and is looking forward to writing more such genres in the feature and series space. Most recently, Tatsat has completed writing a show for TVF and the Indian adaptation of a Korean film for Kross Pictures.
