Biography

Tejasswi Prakash is an Indian television actress and reality-show personality known for her work in Hindi television. She was born on 10 June 1992 in Jeddah to a Marathi family and later raised in Mumbai. Her father, Prakash Wayangankar, is an engineer, and she grew up in a supportive family environment that encouraged both academics and creativity.

Before entering the entertainment industry, she pursued engineering studies and developed an interest in acting and performing arts. Her confidence, expressive acting, and vibrant on-screen presence helped her quickly gain popularity among television audiences.

Career

Early Television Work

Tejasswi Prakash began her television career in 2012 with the Hindi serial 2612, where she played a supporting role. She gained wider recognition with Swaragini – Jodein Rishton Ke Sur (2015–2016), portraying Ragini Maheshwari. The show became highly popular and established her as a familiar face in Indian television.

She later appeared in the thriller drama Pehredaar Piya Ki (2017) and its follow-up Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya (2017–2018), where she played the lead role of Diya Singh.

Reality Shows and Rising Popularity

Tejasswi also participated in several reality television programs. She appeared in the adventure reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 10 in 2020, which showcased her fearless and competitive side.
