Biography
Thriller Manju is an Indian film actor, director, stunt coordinator, choreographer, screenwriter, and martial artist, who is known for his work in Kannada cinema and has also worked in a few Telugu and Tamil films. He started his industry career as a stunt coordinator with the 1993 movie Shhh and has been associated with several movies like Police Story (1996), Hunter (2003), Auto Shankar (2005), and Veera Madakari (2009).
For his exemplary work, he went on to win the Innovative Film Award for Best Stunt Director in 2010. He ventured into movie direction with Police Story in 1996, an action film starring Sai Kumar. The movie turned out to be a blockbuster hit. His other popular directorial ventures include One Man Army (1998), Hunter (2003), Om Ganesh (2004), Rajani (2009) and Police No. 1 (2011).
Manju made his acting debut in 1998 with the film Thriller Killer and later featured in several movies like Mafia (2001), Thrisakthi (2002), Bhagath (2004), and Dandu (2016), to name a few. His 2017 venture as a stunt director includes the Kannada romantic thriller Sarvasva, written and directed by Shreyas Kabadi M, starring Tilak Shekhar, Meghana Appaiah, Ranusha Kashvi and Chethan Kumar in the lead roles.
