Timothy Robert DeKay was born on June 12, 1963, in Ithaca, New York. He developed an interest in acting during his school years and pursued it academically.

He attended Le Moyne College, where he earned a degree in business administration. However, his passion for acting led him to continue his studies at Rutgers University, where he received a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Mason Gross School of the Arts.

 

 

Early Career

DeKay began his career in theater, performing in stage productions that helped him refine his craft. He later transitioned into television and film, initially taking on guest roles and smaller parts.

 

 

Television Career
