Tony Todd was an American actor widely recognized for his powerful screen presence, imposing 6’5" stature, and distinctly deep, gravelly voice. Born on December 4, 1954, in Washington, D.C., he grew up in Hartford, Connecticut. He pursued his passion for acting by studying theater at the University of Connecticut, the Tony Award-winning Eugene O'Neill National Actors Theatre Institute, and the Trinity Repertory Company in Providence, Rhode Island.
