Biography

Trishaan Singh Maini was born and raised in Delhi, India. Initially pursuing a corporate career, he made a bold decision in 2011 to relocate to Mumbai and follow his passion for acting. To support himself during this transition, he began modeling, participating in ramp shows for prestigious events like Lakmé Fashion Week and India Bridal Week. His modeling experience provided him with valuable exposure and connections in the entertainment industry.

 

Acting Career

Trishaan's acting journey commenced with theater, where he honed his craft before venturing into television and film. He gained significant recognition for his role as Maninder Singh, the best friend of Sarabjit Singh, portrayed by Randeep Hooda, in the biographical drama Sarbjit (2016). This film, directed by Omung Kumar, also starred Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and was based on the life of an Indian farmer who was sentenced to death in Pakistan for espionage.

 

In the digital space, Trishaan featured in Vikram Bhatt's horror web series Gehraiyaan (2017), where he played the character Shekhar. The series, which also starred Sanjeeda Sheikh and Vatsal Sheth, delved into a love story intertwined with supernatural occurrences.

 

Trishaan's versatility as an actor is evident in his diverse roles across various genres. He has appeared in television series such as Lag Ja Gale (2023), where he portrayed Randeep, and Bohot Pyaar Karte Hai (2022), playing Vivek.
