T.R. Knight is an American actor, born Theodore Raymond Knight on March 26, 1973, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He began acting at a very young age, appearing on stage at the Guthrie Theater and later building a successful career in theater and on Broadway.
Knight gained worldwide recognition as Dr. George O'Malley on the medical drama Grey's Anatomy. He played the beloved character from 2005 to 2009 and later returned to the series in 2020. His performance earned him a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 2007.
