Udbhav Ojha is a distinguished Indian music composer, singer, and sitarist, celebrated for his contributions to both film and television music. His journey in music commenced under the esteemed tutelage of Pandit Debu Chaudhuri in Delhi, where he mastered classical sitar playing. Furthering his academic pursuits, he achieved a postgraduate degree in classical music from Vikram University, Ujjain, graduating as a gold medalist.

 

Career Highlights

Film and Television Contributions:
Udbhav's versatility is evident in his work across various media. He made a notable entry into playback singing with Yash Chopra's Mohabbatein and contributed to films like Rakshak and Ek Jind Ek Jaan. His solo album Dilbar gained significant traction on music channels such as MTV and Zee Music. In television, he has composed music for popular series including Hitler Didi, Chhoti Bahu, Aise Karo Na Vida, and Maryada, showcasing his adaptability to different genres and narratives.

 

Collaborations and Mentorship:
Early in his career, Udbhav had the privilege of assisting the legendary music director R.D. Burman for two years.
