Udita Goswami, born on February 9, 1984, in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India, is an Indian actress and model known for her work in Bollywood. Raised in a family with roots in Assam and Nepal, Udita grew up in Dehradun, where she completed her early education. Her striking looks and poise led her to pursue a career in modeling, which eventually became a stepping stone to her entry into the film industry.

Modeling Career

Before stepping into Bollywood, Udita had a successful modeling career. She gained prominence by working with leading Indian and international brands, appearing in major ad campaigns, and walking the ramp for notable designers. Her association with brands like Pepsi, Titan Watches, and Nokia brought her widespread recognition. Her natural flair for the camera also made her a favorite for magazine covers and fashion editorials.

Film Career

Udita Goswami made her acting debut in 2003 with the romantic thriller "Paap", directed by Pooja Bhatt. The film received mixed reviews but earned praise for Udita’s performance and her on-screen chemistry with John Abraham. Her role as a Buddhist monk’s protector showcased her potential as an actress and brought her into the limelight.

Following the success of her debut, Udita starred in "Zeher" (2005), another thriller produced by the Bhatt camp.
