Vaquar Shaikh was born and raised in Jalgaon, Maharashtra. He pursued higher education at Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics in Mumbai, where he completed his graduation.

 

 

Television Career

Vaquar's acting journey commenced in the early 1990s, with one of his initial roles in the popular television series "Chandrakanta" (1994). He gained significant recognition for his portrayal of Arnav Nanda in "Saaya" (1998) and Akram in "Heena" (1998-2003). His versatility as an actor was further evident in roles such as Lankeshwar Dashanan Ravan in "Om Namah Shivay" (1999-2000) and Mushtaq Ali (Red Dragon) in "Saara Akaash" (2003-2004).

 

 

One of his most acclaimed performances was as Rashid Ahmed Khan in the television series "Qubool Hai" (2012-2014), which solidified his status in the industry. He continued to showcase his acting prowess in series like "Pradhanmantri" (2013), where he portrayed Chandra Shekhar, and "Vidya" (2019-2020), taking on the role of Nanku Singh.
