Veena Jamkar (born 10 July 1984 in Uran, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India) is a prominent Indian film and theatre actress, primarily known for her work in Marathi cinema. She has also acted in a Konkani-language film, Paltadcho Munis (2009), showcasing her versatility across regional cinema.

Early Life and Education

Veena Jamkar developed a passion for acting from a young age. During her college years at D.G. Ruparel College, Mumbai, where she completed her bachelor’s degree in Arts, she actively participated in plays, skits, and theatre competitions, honing her performance skills. This early exposure to performing arts laid the foundation for her professional career.

Career Beginnings

After completing her education, Veena joined the theatre professionally and began auditioning for films. Her dedication and talent earned her the lead role of Tani in the Marathi film Bebhaan Valu, directed by Umesh Vinayak Kulkarni.
