Biography
Vela Ramamoorthy is an Indian writer and actor who primarily works in Tamil cinema. Born in Ramanathapuram, Tamil Nadu, he initially pursued writing and theatre before entering films. He has written acclaimed Tamil works including Kuttra Parambarai, Kuruthi Aattam, and Pattathu Yaanai.
As an actor, he has appeared in films such as Madha Yaanai Koottam (2013), Sethupathi (2016), Komban (2015), Enai Noki Paayum Thota (2019), Annaatthe (2021), and Etharkkum Thunindhavan (2022). He is known for portraying strong and authoritative characters and has also worked in television.
